For fans of Athletic Bilbao, wearing your colours with pride is all part of the matchday ritual. Whether you’re heading to San Mamés, watching from home, or buying as a special gift, getting the right fit means more comfort, longer wear, and a proper look when you join the sea of red and white. It matters for parents buying for their football-mad kids, and for adults who want their Athletic kit to last beyond a single season.
How to measure correctly
Measuring up for your Athletic football Bilbao kit starts with the chest. Use a soft tape to measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape snug but not tight. Jot down that number, and then check your height from head to toe as a secondary guide. Both chest and height are key, as these supporter kits can differ from regular T-shirts or hoodies. If you’re between sizes, always choose the bigger option for a roomier, more comfortable fit, especially for growing kids or for those who like a looser feel when cheering on the team.

Sizing tips for this specific kit brand
Athletic Bilbao supporter kits tend to run a bit slim, typical of European football brands. Always rely on your chest measurement as the main reference, and use your height as a backup, especially for kids. If you’re at the upper end of a size bracket or aren’t sure, sizing up is almost always the best choice, giving more room for movement and allowing children to grow into their kits. Soft cottons in the infant sets make them comfy for little fans, and it’s wise to choose a larger size if your baby is nearing the top of the suggested age range.
When it comes to women’s kits, note that the cut usually follows a slim, tailored style. Some fans prefer a looser fit for layering or just everyday comfort, so don’t hesitate to opt for the next size up if that sounds like you. For families, picking a slightly bigger junior kit guarantees it’ll last into next season, especially with growth spurts. Adding to this, many regulars in the terraces have found that the Athletic football Bilbao sizing tips above take the stress out of online ordering.
